The whole point behind the EU was to deter europeans going at each other as they did in the first two world wars, and to give meaning to the Roman saying "in unity the power" by uniting Europe at least economically.
With the current shakedown of European Unity and the incoming prowess of new powers like China, you kinda wonder how the Real Fins will compete with the Smart Chinese...From the latest Nokia results, obviously not too well....
On the other side of the coin, many dread being in a continent which is run by a nation that started two world wars with devastating human and economic results, world wars that it didn't quite know how to end...
