Google's Strategic Blunder

Google is treading the same path other previously successful companies crossed. It's cash rich and it's trying to expand into non core areas. Basically Google is trying to do everything.

The crunch will one day come, and Google which at that fateful day will be saturated with business units, will start slashing these units and will thus again return to its core business, assuming there's still business for its core business. By that time Google will be triple its present headcount, and within a two year time frame from the fateful day, will reduce its workforce to less than or equal to its present level
