Greek Parliament under Siege

The Greek parliament is currently under siege by demonstrations against the EU/IMF measures. Prime Minister George Papandreou is scheduled to meet with President Karolos Papoulias to discuss, amongst other things as many hint, the possibility of general elections (something that may be disasterous for the current stage of the Hellenic Economy).

The current demonstration, the largest ever in the last couple of days, is currently peaceful with a number of scrimages but may soon turn violent if friction with the police persist.
