Xaviera Hollander, perhaps one of the most controversial sex symbols of the sixties and seventies, celebrity madame of one of New York's most prestigious brothels, is alive and well and currently resides in Holland.
Xaviera disrupted the sexual revolution, in part through her celebrated book "The Happy Hooker", in the same way that the Apple Iphone disrupted mobile multimedia.
Xaviera addressed long known secrets and taboos such as lesbian love and anal sex, bondage and S+M, and other aspects of human sexuality that dared only to be discussed in closets, or dreamt about in nocturnal nightcaps.
