Google Drive could offer 5GB of storage

If leaked screenshots that are currently circulating are true, a Google Drive cloud service could be released in mid-April with 5GB of free storage for each user. The screenshots were obtained by TalkAndroid.com and show a purported webpage for the unannounced service.
Initial reports about Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) Drive first surfaced in early February, and it was thought at that time that Google Drive would allow users to access their files when on the move, as well as to share them with friends and colleagues. Nothing has changed on that front, though this is the first time that a storage capacity has been rumored. 5GB of storage sounds reasonable, though not exceptional.
“Put files in Google Drive and you can access them on your desktop, mobile phone or tablet and drive.google.com,” reads the page. At the moment, browsing to drive.google.com brings up an error page. According to PC Mag, Google has declined to comment on “rumor or speculation.”
